Chris has spent the last 30 years growing tech companies from start-ups to thriving technology hubs. Using his dynamic energy and decades of experience in the photonic and electronic industries he has helped realise numerous cutting-edge technologies, bringing them to market and guiding those organisations to the next stage in their evolution. As he has done throughout, Chris, now leading Fotech, continues to push past perceived boundaries to deliver truly innovative solutions to those around him – the greatest frontier being the digitisation of our cities with a billion sensors.
Gary qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. Since then he has accumulated 30 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas and Tech sectors carrying out acquisitions, disposals, and bank funding. This included three years in his first CFO role in Texas, USA. More recently Gary has worked with Private Equity backed SME’s included the successful sale of Red Spider to Haliburton.
Ian brings 30+ years’ experience of successful operations management in high technology arenas including seismology instrumentation and oil and gas downhole solutions with companies such as Sondex, where he was General Manager, helping them through their integration into GE. He is responsible for Fotech’s strategic direction for solutions deployment globally.
As Fotech’s Product Line Director, Stuart works closely with partners to listen, understand, develop and deliver cutting-edge solutions for a diverse range of markets and business challenges. Stuart has given particular focus to Smart Cities and Intelligent Transport, championing Fotech’s vision. Prior to joining the Fotech team, Stuart spent sixteen years in the oil & gas upstream sector, initially as an International Field Engineer, moving into Sales and then Product Management. Stuart brings extensive experience in the management of innovation and business development in rapid growth, high-tech businesses. Stuart holds a Master of Engineering degree from Cambridge University.
David directs the activities of Fotech’s highly skilled software and hardware engineering teams. He oversees a range of projects, from system architecture design to software development, to ensure high quality products are consistently delivered to our clients. With over 30 years of experience, working as an electronics engineer, software engineer, project manager and engineer manager, at companies big and small, David brings a wealth of experience to Fotech – helping to drive excellence at the core of our organisation.
Maria's significant experience in building new solutions and ecosystems across digital and physical industries, sees her lead the team's go-to-market strategy and sales excellence to drive global alliances and partner ecosystems. With a passion for Smart Cities and the smart energy/sustainability sector, Maria brings 20 years’ experience developing new businesses and markets for leading telecoms and IT companies such as AT&T, IBM, and Cisco and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and serves on the Built Environment Executive as Future Cities lead. Maria holds a BS (Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, a Master’s Degree in Electronics from Télécom Paris, and an MBA (Honors) from ESSEC International Business School.
